You are rushing forward to grasp adulthood and all the 'pleasures' and 'freedoms' that come with it. But that's not how it is, and these 'pleasures' and 'freedoms' are not things you can put back in the box when you've tried them. They come at a price and, if you are young, the price can be very high. Already you are subjected to sexualised images that you may not even recognize as sexualised - the dress or 'undress' of the pop star and the fashion and glamour model, the teen magazines and catalogues, and it is unfair. You are fed unrealistic hopes, expectations and desires, many of you make yourselves vulnerable in chat rooms or by sending photographs of yourselves that you wouldn't want your mothers to see to your girl and your boyfriends, as if you really don't know the huge risk that these folks are going to show your pictures around and that that which is private to you and should be cherished is likely to find itself on Facebook or some other medium, food for the trolls and other bullies.
